The McIntosh (VPK) Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program, is sponsored through the Early Learning Coalition (ELC) which provides free VPK classes to children who have turned age 4 before September 1st and also children age 5.
There are attendance requirements and arrival / pick-up must be in a timely manner.
The program is a 3-hour day, 5 days a week for 540 total hours.
The educational boost this provides your child for kindergarten is well worth the effort and gives your child a positive start in school.
